How many calories do we need to burn per day to lose weight?
Every time we eat or drink, we are ingesting a certain number of calories. This daily calorie intake is what will most define our weight. Therefore, if we consume fewer calories per day or burn them through exercise, we will certainly lose the weight we want.
First of all, it is important to know the daily calories we need to consume. For this, there is a formula that, although quite general, can indicate an approximate number. Multiply your current weight in kilograms by 30. For example, if your current weight is 68 kilos and you multiply this by 30, the result is 2040; this would be the number of calories for your daily requirement.
Even though every person needs to burn a certain number of calories to lose weight, generally a person who is slightly overweight needs to burn about 3,500 calories per week (about 600 calories per day) to lose 1kg of weight in a healthy way.
However, it must be said that in cases of more significant overweight, you must rely on professionals; it is not enough to just not eat or do exercises without any criteria. Biology and physicality must be evaluated by expert hands, but in the meantime, eating healthy and moving regularly will always be the right decision.
If you also want to enhance the benefits of a proper diet and a targeted workout, you can rely on functional garments such as slimming leggings which, with clinically tested results, can help effectively tone and firm critical areas (e.g., waist, hips, and thighs), with visible improvements in just 10 days. Losing 600 calories a day is not an easy task, but there are some exercises that will make you burn more calories than a simple run.

For example Burpees: a combination of squats, push-ups, and jumps in the same exercise. At high intensity, a person who is not used to it will not be able to do more than 5/6 in a row, but if we manage to do about 7 burpees in a minute, we can burn about 10 calories. The American College of Sports Medicine conducted a study stating that with a single burpee, our body burns 1.43 calories. Since this exercise works most muscle groups, why not get help from a nice slimming sports set? Swimming is another good example of a calorie-burning exercise: when we swim, we tone arms, legs, and abdomen burning about 500 calories in an hour. The swimming style with which the most calories are burned is the butterfly stroke. And finally, the very famous squat which is one of the few exercises that continues to burn calories after practicing it. With squats, you can burn about 13 calories per minute. The ideal is to do 6-7 sets of 20 repetitions, resting a few seconds between each set. Are you ready to burn those annoying calories? I'm already starting to train! See you soon!
